You’ve Got Options...

The benefits of orthodontic treatment include a healthier mouth, a more pleasing appearance, and teeth that are more likely to last a lifetime.

How do I know if I need orthodontics?

  • Overbite – when your upper teeth lie too far forward.
  • Spacing – gaps or spaces between the teeth.
  • Underbite – when your lower teeth lie too far forward.
  • Crowding – when teeth are overlapping or impossible to floss.
  • Crossbite – a bite that doesn’t mesh comfortably.

Treatment

Traditional Braces

When you hear the word braces, you most likely think of those bulky metal brackets with wires. Modern dental brackets are now smaller, less noticeable, and just as effective as the older bulkier ones. They’re easier to keep clean and much more comfortable.

Clear Brackets

If you’re looking for conventional brackets, we also offer clear brackets that tend to be more popular among our adult patients. These brackets are designed to combine conventional orthodontics with discretion. At a quick glance, no one will even realize you are wearing braces.

Clear Aligners - Invisalign

Invisalign uses a series of custom made trays to gradually shift your teeth to their ideal positions. These transparent trays fit snugly against your teeth and are removable so you can take them out to eat what you want, brush and floss like normal, and keep your trays fresh and clean.

Lingual Braces

We can place brace brackets on the inside of your teeth. In many circumstances, this method works just as well as conventional braces, is as discreet as clear aligners and saves the insides of your cheeks from discomfort. Lingual braces are more popular among adults but are also a favourite for teens in sports or band.

to schedule an initial consultation & exam.

Your consultation will include an examination of everything from your teeth, gums and soft tissues to the shape and condition of your bite. Generally, we want to see how your whole mouth looks and functions. Before we plan your treatment we want to know everything about the health and aesthetic of your smile, and, most importantly, what you want to achieve so we can help you get there.

Frequently Asked Questions

Ideally, orthodontic treatment would occur in younger patients before most adult teeth have arrived. If you are a parent, we recommend bringing your teen in for a consultation. But don’t worry! There are orthodontic treatment options available for adults too! It’s never too late.

You must ask your insurance provider what your coverage includes. After a consultation, we can provide you with an estimate for your insurance provider.

Braces do not hurt when they are first applied. After they begin to shift your teeth some discomfort may be felt. Most patients describe the feeling as more annoying than painful. That being said, if you have any pain or discomfort, let us know! There are solutions available to make your treatment as comfortable as possible.

We do offer Invisalign. Book a consultation to find out if Invisalign is the best option for you. You may start with braces and finish your treatment with Invisalign.
