Dr. Wurman
Dentist
For as long as I can remember, dentistry has played a big role in my life.
Since both my parents and my brother are dentists, my friends and colleagues
always assumed I was pre-destined to be one as well. It was my parents’ love
of helping people and their passion for the profession that inspired me to
follow suit and pursue my own career in dentistry.
After graduating from Western University with an Honours Specialization in
Psychology, I earned my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University
of Toronto. Immediately after graduation, I moved to New York City to
advance my education and training in a General Practice Residency at the
Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital. During my residency, I
treated patients of all ages in both a hospital and private practice
setting. I gained experience and refined my skills in restorative and
cosmetic dentistry, root canal procedures, crown and bridge and tooth
extractions.
I thoroughly enjoy all aspects of dentistry and aim to provide high
quality treatment for my patients in a comfortable and gentle manner.
Aside from my passion for dentistry, I enjoy cooking, exercising,
travelling and spending time with family and friends.
