Dr. Voorand looks forward to meeting you and understanding your oral health needs.

Dr. Voorand was born and raised in the small town of Barry’s Bay, Ontario, and has also spent a couple of years of living on the East Coast of Australia with her family.

Her educational journey began with a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from Queen’s University, ON, followed by a Master’s degree at McGill University, QC. She then pursued her Doctor of Dental Surgery at the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry in London, ON.

Dr. Voorand spent five years in cancer research, delving into the behaviour of cancer cells. However, her passion for interacting with people propelled her into the field of dentistry—a transition that has made her incredibly happy ever since. Dr. Voorand is a technical person at heart and this interest has carried forward from her research days to dentistry’s techniques and technologies.

Her goal is to not only address your dental needs but also to create a comfortable and enjoyable experience. Open communication, calmness and some laughter is what Dr. Voorand strives to share for each visit.

When she’s not in the clinic, you might spot her camping, painting, horseback riding, or catching waves while surfing with her partner.
