Having the privilege of caring for your dental needs has been a lifetime dream come true for Dr. Rayo. Early positive memories at the dentist shaped her desire to pursue a career in dentistry. Her journey to becoming a dentist was exceptional and speaks to the passion and commitment she has for the profession of dentistry. Dr. Rayo started her journey in the dental field as an assistant, later as a dental hygienist, and after a rewarding journey, she completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Western Ontario (Western University) in London, Ontario. While at Western, she was involved in research investigating biomarkers of periodontal disease.

Dr. Rayo takes pride in providing a very friendly and comfortable environment during your dental visit. She prides herself on a gentle touch and has an interest in esthetics and implant dentistry. The understanding that comes from holding all clinical roles in the dental office gives her a very unique and well-rounded perspective for delivering high-quality comprehensive dental care. Dr. Rayo enjoys taking the time to educate patients about their oral health using intra-oral photography in the clinical setting. She enjoyed the opportunity to work with Dr.Akiyama prior to his retirement from clinical practice and aims to continue his longstanding example of clinical excellence.

Dr. Rayo is fluent in Spanish and English. In her spare time, she enjoys as much time as possible outside in each of our beautiful four seasons! She is interested in jogging, hiking, skiing and travel. She also enjoys cooking, dancing as well as spending time with friends and family.
